Hollywood is full of celebs that date and break up and then there are those that stay together long enough to consider marriage and so they become engaged. Of course, even these sorts of commitments don’t last because they happen to be stuck in a world of scrutiny and we can’t imagine how difficult it must be to have that sort of attention all of the time. For that reason, many relationships fade so that they can all lead separate lives again. Not all love lasts, especially in these cases and we are left to wonder what love can possibly be strong enough to survive Hollywood.
We also know that the public puts a lot of pressure on these couples to stay together because we feel as if we have a stake in it all as well. Even though this can’t possibly be the case and when the doors close in their personal lives, they are forced to face each other and deal with the lives that they are attempting to merge even with all of its complexities. It is then that they are in the best position to decide where the relationship is going. When they do and we get to hear the verdict of their relationship and that’s when all of the feedback takes place.
However, we can hardly keep up with all of the madness that goes on in their lives, to begin with, and therefore we are only attempting to make sense out of these couples who seemed perfect for each other and are now not working out. Over time, we do forget about their relationships because there are so many to keep up on and therefore, it becomes difficult for us to remember who was dating, engaged or even married. However, these are the relationships that you were probably hoping for a good outcome at one time:
Winona Ryder and Johnny Depp:
Yes! Now, I can recall this relationship although I had no idea that it developed into an actual engagement We can easily see that they were in love with each other or at least, they acted as if they were! They also played starring roles together in the movie ‘Edward Scissorhands’ which is probably how they became so close but we are also used to seeing this happen between those who star in movies together. For some reason, they think that it’s true love. However, time tells us that it was only a part of a movie and that the feelings have died off.
Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow:
So, Brad had been legendarily known for getting engaged and married throughout his years in Hollywood and they have been so spectacularly gorgeous women and so it’s no wonder he picked this pretty lady to become engaged with. This relationship lasted from 1994 -1997 which is a considerably long time in this business. Now, we just wonder what happened between these two and these days, we can say that it was probably due to Brad’s infidelity! I mean, he’s been known to do this to other women that he was fully committed to and so, in this case, I might just blame Brad for this breakup.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck:
Of course, Bennifer! We do remember these two being together in 2002 and it lasted for about one year.
