When Twitter first came out, we didn’t know what to do with it! To be honest, it’s still not my kind of thing at all but when it comes to getting the latest thoughts, opinions or information from the celebrities, it happens to be a hot spot! Heck, even our own president uses it often to give out a piece of information about himself and his policies. This is the way that the world works now and we can honestly say that we live in cool times.
In fact, there was a time when we couldn’t just speak or type our words and expect them to be read or heard without an enormous amount of effort taking place. Now, we are a mere click away from expressing any opinions that we can to the entire world. This is a pretty amazing thing!
So, you can imagine the feeling of what it must be like to be famous and sending out your first tweet. This means that you are about to step onto a platform that has never been used before. Back then, it was all new and surreal and so they were literally treading in waters which were unfamiliar to them. In fact, it was unfamiliar to us all! Now, they are having all sorts of open discussions and sharing their personal lives via this account but in the past, it was not well understood.
With all that said, let’s take a look at what these celebrities first Tweeted out to the world. Some of these were probably done at a time when there wasn’t even a lot of people on Twitter, to begin with so it was like asking them to step onto a stage and face an empty audience who may or may not show up later to catch the recorded version of their act:
So, in this Tweet, she acts like she’s putting an entry in her diary. In a way, it’s like a mini-blog her for. I mean, I’m not sure who knew that she wasn’t “feeling well” but she did want to let everyone know that she had her inhaler next to her, just in case we needed to know this. She obviously knows that this is the wave of the future but she doesn’t seem clear about what whether she is posting or following her own Tweet. Regardless, this is what she chose to Tweet about for the first time and we have to wonder if she regrets every word of it. . .
Ha Ha! Funny lady! We hope that she ended up getting a little better on Twitter than this one time. It seems like a place that doesn’t need the obvious jokes which is all that she is trying to do here, make a joke. Unfortunately, it’s not a very good one because she is clearly aware of the century but for some reason she wants people to laugh about her typing the wrong century, to begin with. I get it but I really don’t because I can’t imagine why this is even taking up internet space and anyone else’s time for that matter.
Who knows what to expect with this new technology?
