Woman Who Was Badly Burned As Baby Finally Finds Mystery Nurse Who Kept Her Safe

Sometimes a small act of kindness can make a huge impact on someone’s life that you may not realise. Someone could be thinking of you and all of the good you did for them for years without you realising how much you touched their heart. It’s something that you can only do with kindness. People can forget being treated badly, given enough time, but an act of kindness can live within your heart for your entire life, and that’s what’s truly wonderful about human nature.

Sometimes, a small act of kindness can come back to you decades later, and today we’re going to be looking at a story about that happening to somebody very special. The story begins with a woman named Amanda Scarpinati, a 38 year old woman from upstate New York who suffered through terrible injuries when she was a child. Almost four decades later, Amanda was searching for the answer to one question that had always been very important to her.

When Amanda was born she had been left on a couch near to a steam vaporiser, Amanda wrote a comment on Facebook about what happened to her on that day, “Story goes something like this: I was sick, placed on a couch and a hot steam humidifier was placed on the floor next to the couch. I was left unattended and rolled off the couch and laid on the humidifier on top of where the steam came out and part of me in the hot liquid vicks.”
