With the next Royal wedding fast approaching, we’re all wondering what it would be like to be a part of the British Royal family. There’s a fairytale appeal to being a part of the Royal family that we have to admit that we’re all curious about. It seems like the perfect life, hanging out in a castle all day with members of the Royal family, not having to do any housework and being able to do pretty much whatever you want. But can the Royals actually do what they want?
Unfortunately, being Royalty is far from the simple life we all imagine it to be from the outside. I mean sure, they don’t have to go to work and they still have people to do their housework but they can’t just do whatever they want. There’s actually a very strict set of rules that all Royals must follow and they cover every single aspect of life as a Royal. That’s no exaggeration, I really do mean every. Single. Thing. If you’re going to be a Royal, you’ve got a lot of rules to learn!
With Meghan Markle set to become a member of the Royal family within just a few short months, she’s probably had to attend some sort of royal rules bootcamp to prepare her for the day she becomes royalty. The amount of rules she’ll have to learn must be beyond anything we can even imagine, and today we’re going to be looking at one set of rules in particular that will confuse anyone who isn’t a member of the Royal family. It’s a weird one, and you wouldn’t imagine that they Royals would even have rules for this!
This particular set of rules is all to do with bathroom time etiquette. Yes, even going to the bathroom has a set of rules and regulations if you’re going to be a member of the Royal Family, especially if you find that you need to pee during one of the Royals’ many social events, like a dinner party that has important people in attendance. If you’re going to be a Royal, you’re going to want to memorise this weird set of rules for how you can take a bathroom break at a dinner party.
