When I was younger, Dirty Dancing was one of my favorite films.

It was the perfect romantic comedy that would melt your heart in a matter of moments.

Dirty Dancing is one of the best films to watch when your having a girls night in, or when your dealing with a bad break up.

It’s been making us feel all mushy on the inside since we were young, and it’s the perfect way to make sure we’re feeling the love.

Dirty Dancing starred the gorgeous Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.

Jennifer Grey was a staple of a number of classic 1980’s movies before she reached huge heights in Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

She starred with Patrick in Red Dawn back in 1984, which was a film about a Soviet occupation of the United States. The film would go on to paved the way for the pair to reunite a few years later on Dirty Dancing.

Jennifer played iconic Baby Houseman in the cult hit, and she really gave audiences the time of their lives when they saw her dancing with Patrick.

For her breathtaking performance in the film she was nominated for a Golden Globe.

It’s true that her acting career slowed down by the 1990’s but she still had some roles in a number of TV shows, which included Rachel’s friend Mindy in Friends, and a guest role in House.

She also won US series Dancing With The Stars in 2010.

What’s even more interesting seems to be Jennifer’s incredible dancing talent comes from her family.

Her father, Joel Grey, won an Academy, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Tony Awards for playing the Master of Ceremonies in the musical Cabaret, both on Broadway and in the 1972 film version.

Its been thirty years since Dirty Dancing hit the big screen, way back in 1987.

Jennifer was only 27 years old (just 10 years older than her screen age).

She’s now 57, but she still looking surprisingly fresh-faced.

But she looks far from the baby faced Baby Houseman any more!

The reason you might struggle to recognise her is because of a controversial nose job back in the early 1990’s. Jennifer credits the procedure with ruining her career, as it completely changed her look.

She said:

“I went into the operating room a celebrity and came out anonymous.

“It was the nose job from hell. I’ll always be this once-famous actress nobody recognises because of a nose job.”

Jennifer has had a number of high-profile relationships with Hollywood A-listers like Johnny Depp, and with her on screen brother and Ferris Bueller co-star Matthew Broderick.

But she has now settled with actor Clark Gregg, who has appeared as Agent Coulson in multiple Marvel Avengers films as the Agents of Shield TV series.

But before his role as Agent Coulson made him famous with many children, he had recurring roles in The West Wing and The New Adventures of Old Christine.

The pair have a daughter called Stella who is 15 years old.

They really are one big happy family!
