Old age catches up with us all and a lot sooner than we would like! It seems like only yesterday I was able to stay out all night, drink like crazy and then head out the next day after no sleep with no problems at all. Now it takes me a whole week to recover from a couple of cocktails on a Saturday night.
But not being able to drink like we used to is the least of our ageing problems. The natural wear and tear on our joints and ligaments leaves us all with aches and pains and unable to stand up after sitting down for long periods of time. Painkillers might be a quick go-to and definitely provide some immediate relief, but what we could really use is a more permanent solution. Well we’ve discovered a natural drink which has ingredients that will help to provide relief while encouraging the improvement of your muscles and joints. Pens and paper at the ready? Good! You’ll need 2 cups of chopped pineapple, 1 cup of natural orange juice (actual juice, not from a juice box), 1 cup of oatmeal, 8 ounces of water, 8 ounces of crushed sweet almonds, 2 teaspoons of unflavoured gelatine (definitely don’t use flavoured, no matter how much you may want to), 1 teaspoon of organic honey, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder (and absolutely no more than a teaspoon).
