Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now engaged, and the whole world is waiting in excitement to see what this Royal wedding will look like.
When Harry and Meghan announced their engagement, a lot of us were excited, and some of us had tears in our eyes.
While some people had tears of excitement in their eyes, there were others who were crying because they missed their chance to marry a Prince!… Ok, maybe I was one of those people.
Since their engagement, a few bits and pieces about the Royal wedding has been revealed.
The venue, how many people have been invited, and the date of the wedding has been revealed, but there are a few things that are being kept a top secret.
As most of us already know, weddings are truly breathtaking events. For most of us, it’s a once in a lifetime thing so every detail has to be perfect.
But anyone who has gotten married or is currently planning there wedding, they’ll tell you how difficult it is to do!
Everything has to be planned for months – even years – in advance.
Everything from the cake, the venue, the flowers, the rings, everything has to be perfect.
But the price tag is the most shocking part.
I bet you didn’t know that the average wedding can cost you somewhere between $19,984 to $33,306!
If that’s the budget for the average wedding, then you can imagine what the budget for a Royal wedding would be.
As I mentioned, in terms of Meghan and Harry’s wedding, we don’t know all that much.
There hasn’t been a lot of information released about the wedding., no clues about the dress, the bridal party, anything like that.
All we really know about the wedding is that there is already a date in place, which is May 2018.
The wedding is set to take place in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, and there are over 2,000 people attending the wedding.
Meghan and Harry’s engagement was announced in November, and with their wedding set in May, it’s left a lot of people wondering why the rush?
But the truth is, there’s no rush at all! If anything, it’s a perfectly normal amount of time for a Royal couple.
Don’t believe me? Well, just compare it to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s timeline.
Prince William and Kate’s wedding was announced in November 2010 and they got married the following April.
See, it’s perfectly normal!
But before their wedding, Meghan has made it her mission to make sure everything is just right, especially when it comes to Hary’s dirty little habit.
According to sources, Prince Harry was persuaded to quit smoking by Meghan.
The ‘broody’ bride to be is quite excited to start a family after the royal wedding, and she’s keen on ensuring the pair are fit to do the job.
Reportedly, Meghan has managed to convince Harry to abandon his Malboro Lights and cut down on alcohol before they try for a baby.
A source said:
‘One of the reasons she got him to quit smoking is because smoking affects sperm production.
‘It’s no secret among friends that they want to start a family immediately.’
Since announcing their engagement, Prince Harry has reportedly lost 10lbs too, and it’s all thanks to his workouts at the exclusive KX private members health club in Chelsea. Membership here starts at £575 a month!
The royal has been spotted there at 7am on an almost daily basis, where he is reportedly ‘getting his soldier body back’.
Most of us already know that Meghan is very keen on staying fit, and she takes daily jogs to help clear her head, and practices yoga.
Meghan is very keen that Harry starts to take part of her healthy eating practices. It’s reported that the Prince has been working with Gabriela Peacock, who is a nutritional therapist at exclusive women’s club Grace Belgravia.
Prince Harry is known for his love of sweets, fast food, and alcohol, but Meghan has taken a healthier approach when it comes to their meals.
Meghan has previously told Good Housekeeping that her fridge staples are hummus, carrots, green juice, almond milk and chia seed pudding. Yum!
Back in December 2017, a close friend of the royal revealed that he had stopped smoking at their home.
‘Harry has promised no smoking at all at home. It’s not nice for Meghan as a non-smoker.
‘So there’s no more hanging out of the window for a quick puff.’
