We’ve all been guilty of doing one or two of these at some point in our working lives. Sometimes, it really is just tiredness messing with our common sense, and other times we just cannot muster up the energy to use proper grammar.

However, just know that if you make these mistakes too often- your colleagues will roll their eyes every single time your name pops up in their email- without fail.

Believe us, we’ve been there…

1. It’s just not happening, sorry…

This is just freakin’ common sense. 4.30pm Friday? No thank you…

Pick your battles wisely- email on a Monday morning instead…

2. THIS NEEDS TO BE A THING…

Seriously, is there anything more mortifying than accidentally replying to all?

Especially when it involves a lot of b*tching about your colleagues…

3. Somebody give this man a promotion…

Unfortunately, his wisdom will remain only on Twitter for now…

Hey, at least he’s staying true to himself! You do you, boo

4. A million times YES…

THERE IS LITERALLY AN UNLIMITED AMOUNT OF SPACE UNDERNEATH TO WRITE…

We know it’s good to be upfront sometimes, but c’mon…

5. It just doesn’t quite scream out “professional”…

Wow, they must be absolutely inundated with job offers daily…

Keep it simple people. Your name and birth year is the way to go…

6. Stay vigilant, always…

Always stay one step ahead of the game. Be smart…

You’d be surprised how quickly things can turn ugly. Stay woke sis…

7. Nobody has ever taken anything seriously written in Comic Sans…

Ah, Comic Sans- the laughing stock of the font family…

We all secretly love it- but trust us, don’t go there…

8. We cannot stress this enough…

Basically, don’t send an email to your boss calling him an a*shole…

Check that recipient field like you’re livelihood depends on it…

9. Don’t fall victim to the grammar police…

YES- don’t start slacking just because you’re sending an email…

Also, where can we buy these freakin’ amazing pencils please?!

10. I mean, give us a minute JEEZ…

“No I haven’t checked my email yet, it’s literally been 0.2 seconds”…

However, please do try your hardest not to “face punch” your colleagues…

11. Unfortunately, it’s a risk many are still willing to take…

Risk annoying all of your colleagues? Or gamble getting rich?

We can’t quite believe that people are still falling for these…

Somehow, that awesome cover letter just won’t have the same effect…

This is a sure way to get your resume dragged straight into the trash…

OH MY GOD, just get to the freakin’ point already…

We can’t cope. We have far too much online shopping to do…

We know it’s hard sometimes- but just try not to…

Yes, we all feel nostalgic for the 90s, but c’mon…

But definitely do tweet when drunk because the result is hilarious…

But yeah, hangover’s are bad enough without getting fired from your job…
